The Saltarelle Clifden is undoubtedly the popular piano accordion of choice for Irish and Scottish traditional and folk musicians and indeed with many other folk accordionists that favour a light responsive professional instrument.

Fitted with hand made reeds as standard for maximum volume and response, it is easily capable of meeting the highest demands of any musician and produces a powerful rich sound.

The additional low D key allows additional harmonics and D double stops at the lower end of the scale.

These can be ordered in the tuning of your choice. The most common is the MM reed configuration in a crisp 2 voice Irish swing tuning.

If you prefer a sweeter sound then I can advise you on the best tuning for your needs.
