A rare opportunity to buy this nice condition top of the range button box tuned for Irish traditional and folk music that costs around. £4,500 new. It is beautifully crafted accordion from Italy with tasteful wooden inlays and beautiful gold coloured metal grille.
Fitted with hand finished Tippo A Mano reeds, it has a superb traditional Irish soprani like sound on both the 3 voices and also with the low octave basson reed as 4 voice. The 6 treble and 3 bass couplers give an excellent range of tones to suit all musical styles.
Bass layout is traditional Irish Paolo Soprani layout.
There are the usual few minor scratch and scuff marks that are commonly found on a wooden box caused by the strap buckles: and on top and on bottom back edges which are easily treated by a furniture restorer. See photos.
