This used Pigini is most likely a late 1970 or 1980s model 130 that is in good condition with the usual light signs of use. The Pearl keys have aged with a yellowish appearance and there is a spot where the celluloid is worn where the accordion sits against the leg. See photos.
All tuning and valve work just completed and the accordion is playing well with excellent compression and good bellows.
Being a Pigini it of course has the expected high build quality and superb sound. This is the 37 key 120 bass 4 voice Scottish musette tuned model 130 in LMMM reed configuration. Bassoon and clarinet reeds are in Cassotto to add a rich mellow character to the tone.
There is also a grille mute to add to the tone colours of the non Cassotto reeds.
At just 10.5 Kg this is a reasonable weight for a double cassotto accordion and it is well balanced siting neatly and is very comfortable to play.
