Weltmeister Consona 96 Bass Semi-Cassotto LMMH Piano Accordion Used
This is in reasonably good condition German made accordion in classic black with the usual signs of use, a few dings and scratches particularly where the strap buckles rubbed on the treble side top edge. A short section of the treble coupler surround is missing. Study the photos as they will give a better idea of the overall condition.
Termed as semi-cassotto, it cleverly uses to the cavity under the piano keys to give a cassotto chamber like effect rather than use the usual wooden cassotto box that would add additional weight to the instrument.
It therefore has a nice pleasing cassotto like mellow tone that will sound lovely in most types of music.
Reed layout is LMMH and straight tuned for a fabulous range of tones from the 11 treble couplers.
This one is priced low to reflect its condition so a very affordable price with the new version costing wro over £3000, so is really good value.
Tuning has been checked and it has good bellows and excellent compression.
Complete with straps and used case.
